At the age of seventy-three, New York Times bestselling author Sylvia Browne is ready to tell the whole story of her extraordinary life. In Psychic, we meet the woman behind the public figure: from the child receiving her first visits from the spirit world to the teenager doubting her own sanity; from the new mother living through staggering highs and lows to the burgeoning celebrity, and, ultimately, the successful, happily married woman she is today. Filled with never-before-told stories and otherworldly encounters, Psychic is a riveting account of how Sylvia Shoemaker, a traditional girl from Missouri, became world-famous psychic Sylvia Browne.
Nothing is off-limits. Sylvia tells the little-known truths behind her three failed marriagesincluding physical abuse, bankruptcy, and legal troublesand the financial and emotional damage they wreaked. She revisits her personal demons and describes her physical challenges, including her relatively recent discovery that she'd suddenly gone blind in one eye. And then there is the greatest surprise of all: Sylvia tells how, once she had reached her seventies, and believed her romantic life was over, the real Mr. Right finallyimpossiblyshowed up.
While the press has freely, often bitterly, weighed in on Sylvia's most painful stories, she has remained quietuntil now. Unlike any other book Sylvia has written, Psychic reaches deep beneath the surface of her life, including professional and personal experiences that she is sharing publicly for the first time. With candor, warmth, and a great deal of humor, Sylvia Browne has written the singularly captivating tale of a life lived in two worlds, filled equally with harsh earthly realities and mesmerizing spiritual insights.

Rating: - Sylvia Browne, My Life in Two Worlds
Easy Read. Sylvia being Sylvia, has had just about every psychic experience there is (of course). She's a good person and if you never read any of her books before, you should enjoy this one. If you have read her books before, this is more of the same.
Rating: - Best book yet!
I have followed Sylvia's work for many years now. I have read a good 10 of her books or so and this one was by far my favorite. I couldn't put it down and the real photos she included make things that much more interesting. I give this book 5 stars because it made me laugh, cry, gave me chills, made me think, to sum it all up: Sylvia has done it again.
Rating: - Couldn't put it down
I have been reading Sylvia's books for years and this book was awesome! She reveals personal details of her life and it was very hard to put down. I love Sylvia!
Rating: - PENNY
There was more new info then in past books. That part was enjoyable. The repeats not so much.
Rating: - Love ya Sylvia but..
Love ya Sylvia but this book was no different than "Adventures of a Psychic". Actually I think "Adventures of a Psychic" was a better read, packed with more information and details.
